This beautiful sight was above my backyard today. The dark rain clouds hovering and threatening showers, the air was thick with heat and humidity. But the sun was breaking through this small opening, sending silver lines of light through the thinner parts of the clouds and even allowing a small patch of blue to be seen (it was difficult to see because it was so bright).
