It is Monday morning and instead of doing the dishes or cleaning my mountain of laundry, I am going to remissness on our Saturday! This last week STUNK, kids have been sick, and although I have been getting 8hours of sleep a night, I feel like I never sleep at all... and now this week looks to be similar with Kjeld hiding in bed with a nasty cold (his first class starts in 20minutes, uh oh), Liala's voice still gone, and new stuffy noses popping up! Will it never end?
Anyways, lets talk about saturday! I needed to get out of the house, I knew that all week. I had set up some portfolio building photo shoots to make sure that I did! So 6am rolls around and I hop out of bed... well it was more of a slow moving blob like action... but I did get out of bed! And started to frantically get ready for my first shoot of the day! I was all nerves and tiredness, and managed to pick a fight with Kjeld over what I was going to wear, he graciously forgave me for my insanity.
7am came and it was time to go! Elsa and I went with the Malmbergs, a beautiful young couple from our Ward, into Down Town Bellingham to shoot some bridal/trash the dress-esc type photos. It was a beautiful morning, so quiet and peaceful. I think I want to be a morning person now, even though I cant seem to wake up before 8am on my own. Perhaps I will have to work harder. Here are my favorite pictures from that shoot (THANK YOU AMBER AND LANCE, you guys were GREAT!):

I really loved all of the photos, but I don't want to overwhelm who ever is reading the blog. You can see all of them (minus my more extreme edits on my flickr account, or if you give me a bit I am revamping my website to FLASH, and all of my new portfolio builders will be there!).
Kjeld took the Malmbergs to Whatcom Falls park, his pictures turned out SOOOO BEAUTIFUL! I was incredibly jealous. I want to go an edit them myself, but I need to let him do it; Here are a couple that he hasn't edited, but I wanted to share them:

While he was out with the Malmberg, I started editing the photos I had with them, he came home and took a few pictures of me. Now I realize these are insane, and I am incredibly embarassed to put them up because they are of me. However, I wouldn't skip-a-heartbeat in putting these up if it were of Kjeld or the kids... so I must be fare (or is it fair... dng it):

Blue Steal

Monkey Face... and the best out of the bunch:

Crazy Banana Face! We like being silly.
My mid-day photoshoot had to cansel on me. So I stuck to my guns and we got out of the house. We walked, YES WALKED, down to the famers market. And then took the bus to boulevard park! It was a BEAUTIFUL day, and although it was not as easy as driving with all of the kids, it was well worth the walk to really be able to enjoy the sun and eachothers company. Although I did have to keep telling Liala to stop talking, because she had lost her voice and what was left sounded so pathetic it was emotionally difficult to listen to... but those of you know Liala, know she didn't stop talking.
Kjeld took so great shots at the market, and at the park... I took a few (like the ones where Kjeld is in the picture... ha ha):

I then met the great family, "the Gordon's" at the park, for another photoshoot! We started a little late though, because we had agreed to meet at boulevard park inbetween the Cafe and the bridge. So We were at the bridge, and the Gordon's were at the Cafe... no one was really inbetween! Ha-ha. I thought it was funny...
Any ways. Again they will have some pictures up on my new website, but here is a "teaser". They are such a fun family to be around! Everyone has so much good engery! Not to mention they are incredibly photogenic. (THANK YOU GORDON'S!!!):

It was an amazing Saturday... now on to this week!!! I hope the stuffy noses are short lived!

HEY, what's the deal? You take the Malmbergs and the Gordons out for a photo shoot...what about the Lovelands?!!
I love all the pictures, they look so great. My favorite is the one of them in the alley jumping and the other of them with the water fall in the background.
I have to call about visiting teaching.

They all turned out great thanks for the fun photo shoot afternoon! I love the ones of Lance and Amber!
I was just at the Gordons blog and the pictures you took of each of them individually by that rock turned out SO GREAT. The way you took the pictures is so flattering. Some of the best pictures I've ever seen. I think you know what you're doing!

Jessica,
All of the pictures that you took were stunning! And it is super fun to see a few pictures that kjell has done. I'm excited to see all of them. Honestly; you did such an incredible job. I want to frame a lot of the pictures! It was fun! I'm excited for you to do more photo shoots for us soon!
